Still rocking'….

Welcome back to the next edition of the story of our lives....
As always, we are always working on some new project or another, and, well; 2014 is no different.
Except that, ummm, well, maybe we have way more to do this year,  and a bigger crew to do it all and pull off some of the best entertainment poppin' in the D.

This edition we want to pay homage to a great friend of ours.

A.J. Love.

Most people knew A.J. as a member of the Motor City HouseRockers ' Howling Diablos '

That was just one facet of A.J.

As owner of his own 8 Mile Studio, and his own band ' ScatterCat ; A.J. built a solid, respected name in the industry.

His passing years ago was a shock to us all.

We still miss him.

I walk by his studio on a regular basis, and the memory still stings.

The legacy he left behind is one we are all proud of.

We did some fundraising, and were able to get this bench, and a tree planted in his memory. 

I sit on the bench (located on St. Louis in Ferndale) often. It brings me back to the recollection of what this whole music industry meant to us, and what we all wanted it to be.
On many days, THAT is what kept me in the game doin' what it is we do...

                 'SESSIONS @ South Hall'

So, the final planning is going into the 'Motor City SuperSession' Series.
Originally slated to be a 3 event series at the Tangent Gallery/Hastings Ballroom in Detroit; has now turned into a 6 event series run over a 12 months period. This event will feature some of Detroit's best talents, all together for one common cause: TO Help OTHERS!!!!
More to come as the details emerge on this series of shows.
